Once common across Britain, this simple vernacular gem is now one of only a handful of traditional cottages that retains its original interior with full height oak crucks, exposed under thatch, wickerwork chimney hood, rustic plank panelling and a hanging sleeping loft.
The cottage ideally sleeps 2, but can accommodate up to 4. Oil-fired central heating is provided throughout, and there is a traditional wood-burning stove for cosy nights in. Furnishings are original Welsh country antiques (apart from a new bed and sofa-bed) and all appliances are new.
Prices include bed linen, electricity, heating, wood for the wood burner and cleaning costs. Towels can be provided for a small surcharge. No smoking and no pets allowed.
