LGB Friends dining
club
The
LGB and Friends Dining Club, Wrexham, North Wales, is a Dining Club that
provides opportunities for the Lesbian, Gay, Bi-sexual community and
their friends to meet in a local Wrexham restaurant on a monthly basis.
This is an alternative way of meeting people in a warm, friendly and
supportive environment. Those who regularly attend come from various
parts of North Wales, Cheshire, Merseyside and Staffordshire and are
from diverse backgrounds
The Lesbian, Gay, Bi-sexual and Friends Dining Club was established over
two years ago by Keith Drury. It was set up due to the lack of
opportunities there were to meet new people from the Lesbian, Gay and
Bi-sexual Community in Wrexham, North Wales. It is a group of people
that meet on a monthly basis for dinners in a local Wrexham restaurant.
Since it began, it has developed into a well respected club consisting
of people from different social, economic and
professional/non-professional backgrounds. Those who attend feel safe
and accepted by a very caring community of people without fear of
discrimination.
